I'm old school and in the old days we had to straighten Frames, housings, shafts and axles. When I owned a Driveline Shop, We would straighten the driveshaft within .002 to .003. We never had to put a weight on ours.
Depending on what needs to be straightened, there are three methods, Cold press, Heat Press and Heat/Cool straightening.
Antime you weld on a differential, You should check for straightness. When we shorten a housing, we offer free straightening after the customer welds on any brackets or mounts.
Front Differentials, We can help you get that CAMBER back to specs.
